Peter Hucknall Memorial Site
This website was inspired by the memory of Peter Hucknall (1963-2011)
Hucky was a fellow who approached life full of enthusiasm, always quick with a quip, takin' the piss out of all of us, even himself. When I made the Hall of Debaiters page, the words I came up with to describe and distinguish Hucky were:
Known For: Jocularity, Mischievousness, Equality, Perversion, Vitriol
Jocularity - because of his predisposition to and immersion in comedy.
Mischievousness - exemplified in his devious diversions into misadventure.
Equality - because he was a staunch supporter of free speech, both in theory and in practice (he used his own free speech to the fullest, without restriction and without discrimination and he also hosted Debait when I needed him).
Perversion - Self-evident. He loved the ladies.
Vitriol - though always laced with humour, this was also a trait of Hucky, especially when he'd had a few. Lol.

Hucky, a long time member of my chat room Christian Discussion & Debait aka A ROOM FOR APOSTASY, came in a wave of members from the Vladd44 chat room, where I'd been hanging out for a spell, challenging ideas and ideals. We became fast friends and he soon became a regular feature of Debait, abandoning his old WinMx haunts primarily to chat in the unrestricted free speech environment only found in Debait.
From time to time, I have relied on different members to carry the torch and provide the bandwidth and dedication to maintaining free speech on WinMx and Hucky was a proud volunteer to those tasks, and always did so with integrity. Hucky also supported free speech on the knot4prophet.com forums as well.

It's hard to believe he is actually gone, and I keep finding that I have to remind myself that he really is gone, which re-introduces me to the grief, each time. And part of that sorrow I feel at having lost Hucky in my life, is not just the selfish loss of me having been deprived of him, but sadness knowing all the other people too, sharing in this grief because he touched so many lives in a positive way.
He is the only man I've ever shed a tear over, in my entire life, and that says a lot, considering I only knew him through online textual communication. He lived life to the fullest, and while his life of excess may have caused his early demise, it also pervaded his excessive predilection for spreading happiness to others.
